Lake to Sound Trail Opening
It has been a busy summer for parks and green spaces in SeaTac. On June 7, elected officials from King County, SeaTac, and neighboring cities gathered at a leafy new multi-use trail Southwest of the airport. This trail is the latest segment of the Lake to Sound Trail, which will provide a connection for pedestrians, cyclists, and others from Lake Washington in Renton, through our neighboring cities, and out to Puget Sound.
This segment of trail represents a great new resource for the people of SeaTac, and it will provide a new connection between SeaTac and Burien. It is just one of several major ongoing parks and open space projects SeaTac including Des Moines Creek Park and North SeaTac Park, which Mayor Egal and his colleagues are working to preserve for future generations.
